Keeping a correct record of all cleaning, repair and inspection details is required by the National Fire Protection Agency. The Secure Asset Tracking System or SATS generates accurate reports for every fire uniform element. SATS tracks and records following information:
- Name of bunker gear owner
- Date of issue
- Manufacturer
- Manufacturer's serial number
- Month and year of manufacture
- Inspection Details
- Cleaning Details
- Repair Details
The SATS software system works together with NFPA standards, and automatically notifies customers of their fire uniform requirements. If the uniform is in for cleaning, and repairs are required, SATS informs the customer. If the fire uniform needs to be replaced, SATS notifies the customer and keeps record of all these details. Every fire uniform item is tracked during every phase.
